Wife gave me a choice. Tune the E63, forgo the Porsche turbo ( not practical for my family ) and get this GL63 AMG which is huge BTW so you know what route I took.
I know I shouldnt compare Apple to Orange, but how can I make the SUV a little faster ? Lol.
I must say though it is a pretty fast SUV for its size.
That would be sweet. I always wonder if the transmission should be updated as well if you are adding the bigger turbos.
Actually asked Renntech and of course they said transmission upgrade is needed to handle to HP, but ask my Dealer friend and he said no because it was built to handle the HP, but then again my friend said he's got my back if something goes wrong. But the really question is if a transmission upgrade will completely get rid of the launch lag? Anyone?
