that is all i got. started to get pricey. Wife was like that is enough. i am happy to own the car. Traded in the CLA45 and moved right past the c63 into the E63. i am happy

 

i was told the car is going to be here late august. It was a dealership order that they let me change before it was locked out. It went red the very next day. Does that time period sound right for gettting the car if the build turned red and no more changes can be made?

Sounds right. I think you can only make changes until two weeks before production so if you caught it just in time then they should be building it soon. Mine is being built right now. I am expecting delivery around the end of August as well. Cheers!

 

Congrats on the order as well. Real excited to get my car. After trading in the CLA45 AMG i am left driving the work car (2005 c300) all the time. it sucks.

My order 2016 e63amg s SEDAN
I added "Laminated acoustic glass" OPTION front & rear well worth $300 which my dealer thru in. Windows are forged/reinforce/thick to make the ride inside literally sound proof form the outside incredible option overlooked by many. Also did open pore brown ash wood looks sick with my contrasted leather seats. Had other options for my beast.

 

I was slightly interested in that option and wondered what the benefit was but now I'll pass because I prefer to hear my engine and exhaust. Why? Because it's an AMG!

 

With the miracle of time, you can use a finger to push the window down and hear the engine. If your a senior citizen you may require 2 fingers ; )
