Tire pressures for E63 wagon (2012)

The label on the door frame list pressures only under a full load. Front @ 39 PSI, and rears @ 45 PSI. The manual doesn't list any tire pressure specs. There is no info for less than a full load.

I decided to go three pounds less i.e., 36 PSI front, 42 PSI rears. What are other wagon owners using?

One comment, the MB dealer had the inflation backwards (45 front and 39 rear). Its been several months since I checked the pressure. I assumed the dealer knew what they were doing (had them recoat the rims under warranty).

I run about 38/44 f/r. Seems to be a nice mix of traction and comfort.

If you did not have any issues running the recommended pressure, then continue to run it. Depending on the road conditions where you live, it may save your rims from cracking.

The fronts were at a higher pressure than the rears and this is incorrect.

And the point of the question is to learn what the recommended pressure is supposed to be. So, no matter what, I wasn't running at the recommended pressure because there doesn't seem to be a recommended pressure for when you are NOT running a heavy load.

I guess you are just ignoring my recommendation to run at the recommended pressure full load or not. If you are not having any issues then experiment away. If you are looking to compensate for something, you are not providing any information. I hope you have wheel and tire plus warranty. Good luck.

Hmm did you check fuel tank door? Mine lists 2 or 3 different values for recommended tire pressure depending on load for both front and rear wheels. For me the minimum is 42PSI for both axles for the lightest load.
Regarding the tire pressure from dealer: had the same story with my wife's GLA, which had front wheels set to -5PSI from recommended. So lame.
