S4 -> C63 ->TTRS ->E63 Wagon -> C63 -> RS3 -> E63 Wagon

E63 Newbie

Hey guys, need a little help on a 2012 E63 Wagon. My previous MB was a 2010 C63 and want to get back in the family (currently with an Audi) but don't know much about the 2012 E63s. In general, what are the biggest issues, concerns with these?

-The one I am looking at has 1.5 years of warranty left on it...is it a concern not to extend it if the car hasn't had any issues (34k miles right now)

-What are the differences between a 2012 and 2013? Looks like a substantial change on the 2014s but can't find anything on the previous. Want to make sure I shouldn't look for a 13 if there is something big

-If there are any C63 owners, what is the difference (other than the size really)?

2012 E63 P30 Wagon

I don't think there are any major differences between 2012 and 2013, as both are pre-face-lifted models.

I have a 2012 that has been rock solid. that said, I'm not sure I would keep it outside of warranty...

I have three toddlers so the space of the e63 was substantial and worth it as was the AWD for me in the Midwest
