I know there is nothing like a V12...Why not a S63 coupe, which is equally fast without that old transmission in the S65.
BTW, I'm still not used the the placement of the badges on the S coupe. I would rather have them on the deck lid. Of course, it wouldn't matter if you plan to debadge.

Like the S65 better, but my wife warned me no modification on the new car. It's her baby now. Lol.
Was going to the CLS63, but a friend who also got a S63 mentioned I should take a look at the S coupe. Took a hard look, though it's a 2 door. It's got more leg room for the 8 year. Everyone is happy.

No, the S65 has the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission and more HP and Tq. ( don't tell my wife that ) over the S63. It's quite impressive for such a big and heavy car. I think AMG outdid themselves again. Love the ride.

I was kinda scratching my head when you guys asked if it still had the 5 speed tranny thinking to myself the last time I saw a 5 speed automatic transmission has been a longggg while ago.
I'm no expert, but the S65 did not have whatsoever any lag compares to my tune E63 with RWD maybe because of the transmission on the S65 compares to the MCT? I haven't even come close to the brake in period so haven't really got on it yet, but the S65 has some serious power off the line.
My daughter was the first one to approved the S65 cause she loves the leg room in the back.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. Got too caught up taking delivery of the new car, forgot to ask about the ambient light on the E63.
The sales manager did point out the 300 LED with 7 different ambient colors to choose from on the S65. Having too much fun learning about the S class. Like a kid in a candy store. Lol.
