Going skinnier ? aftermarket wheels
I'm thinking about buying a set of wheels to replace the 18" OEM wheels which I'll convert to winter wheels. Currently, the fronts are 9 inches wide with an ET of 37. Rears are 9.5 and ET of 52.
The set I'm considering is 19 inches with the fronts at 8.5 inches wide and an ET of 42. Rears are 19" also at 9.5 inches wide and an ET of 50 matching my current wheel fairly well.
Regarding the fronts: The wheel fitment calculator in the classified section indicates the wheel will be moved inwards by 12 MM.
I'm not worried about 12 MMs, but I wonder how handling will be affected by having narrower wheels in the front of my wagon.
