Reso delete? Any power loss in the low end?

Reso delete? Any power loss in the low end?
So just have a question guys I have a 2016 E63S and wondering about a reso delete (middle section). I searched through the forum using the search feature and could not find a definitive answer as to whether a resonator delete will drop the low end power at all with the loss of back pressure? If so what are the remedies to this? X-pipe? Has anyone done a x-pipe and experienced any drop of increase in power?

i did the res delete with straight pipe and haven't noticed any loss at all. At first i loved the tone but thought it might be too loud but a couple days later and i was hooked.

I don't think you need to worry about that on turbo cars like you do with n/a or s/c cars.

Correct, i did the res delete on my N/A E63 and definitely felt loss of low end torque. I gained back some torque after the EC tune.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger with the reso delete, sounds definitely like how a amg should come from the factory, zero power difference no positive or negative effects also made sense from looking at the straight through design with very few perforations in the reso.

Best bang for your buck at $140 taxes in.
