Interior choices much more limited in Colors than previous models
I'm looking into a new AMG Wagon. I mentioned this in a couple other threads but nobody said anything. But here is one thing that does bother me on the I believe 2014's and up both AMG E series Sedans and Wagons. the Color of the dash always remains the same which is a dark charcoal no matter what Interior color you order, even the light colors. http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl...b=tab-interior At least on my 2012 the dash and lower dash colors were setup to match the rest of the colors of the interior order, not so anymore. I think they must have done this at Benz to save money or something. This is more of a major consideration than meets the eye as the top of the dash being so very dark would tend to radiate heat much more than a light color you can see in the picture from my 2012 E63 AMG Wagon. In hot climates like Fla, Arizona, California this could make a big difference as far as vehicle interior temperature especially after the vehicle is parked in the hot sun. See picture below of my 2012, you can't get this anymore. The interior color on the seats and doors of my 2012 is this same color.

Lighter colored dash is nice for temperature reduction, but it might reflect more light to your eyes. How about putting up sunshades when you park?
