Another winter wheel question, need advice.

Sorry to bash the fitment drum again.

Getting a 16 E63S wagon. Will an all square 9J ET 37 19" fitment with 255/35/19 winter Michelins from a CLS work as winter set up? Can get this with one season on it for a great price.
I get a frown and a blank stare from the dealership, so would rather go with the forums advice. Thanks.

It will work. Might look a little funny b/c of offset and tire size. Nothing a spacer can't fix.

Thanks for the reply.
Funny in that it will stick out more, or be set in further?
I don't mind if the winters do not sit that well, it is more for function. I do not want them poking out too far, as the rocks and winter grime will chew the paint...

Wrong. A 9.0 ET 37 will extend 9mm further out than the stock 9.5 ET 52, but provide 21 mm greater inner clearance.

Exact difference.

Inner Clearance: 20.35mm or 0.78in more
Outer Position: extend by 7.65mm or 0.29in
Diameter difference: 0.3" (1.13%)
