Pre Face W212 E63 Question
Question. A Preface 2012-2013 E63. One with factory limited slip and one without. Does the one with limited slip produces more, less, same HP/TQ or simply put faster than the one without simply because it is a optional item? What is the difference? Many thanks for your knowledge.

I don't think the limited slip differential will create more or less drive train loss than the non-LSD; they should be about the same. The LSD just balances the power to stabilize cornering and reduce traction loss.

Just an FYI,
You can upgrade a non LSD for about $1800 total.
Eurocharged Performance, for one, offers a pretty nice unit and they quoted 6 to 7 hours installation for your mechanic.
