Hello! just got a 2016 E63 Wagon
Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking around here for a couple of months now and finally decided to make an account after picking up my 2016 E63 wagon.
I've had her about 2 weeks now and it's just been fantastic.
I already took a road trip from LA to Cupertino and back.
perfect way to get past the 1000 mile break in.
I will probably keep her stock besides some very minor cosmetic tweaks, if that.
but that hasn't kept me from reading up on all your impressions about AMS and Renntech tunes. hahah.
Nice meeting you all.
I look forward to sharing stories and tips with everyone here.
here are some pictures from the drive back down to LA last week.
Night Styling package was worth the extra few dollars.

Nice and welcome to the forum. See you took the loooong route ( 1 ) scenic route. Took about 61/2 hours from LA to Bay Area ?

Thank you. Yeah it was the long way around. it took a little over 7 hours. there were a lot more slow RVs than usual. it really is a beautiful drive.

It's been really good to me so far.
I can't tell you how much I like the night package. It really gives that sinister look that makes even most non-car people to pause and take a second look.

Small update.
The Neck Pro system deployed in my headrests. I wasn't in an accident so it came as a shock to me. the best guess is that the jolt from running over a heavy metal plate that was covering up some road work was enough of an impact.
I was able to reset the driver's side headrest myself by following the directions in the manual but the passenger side didn't cooperate. The dealer had to reset the solenoid to open the clasp that grabs the headrest.
They quoted a service charge when i dropped off the car but the service manager had waived it when I came to pick up the car.
My 2 separate dealership service dept experiences have been great so far.
No mods on the car yet. Just bought some accessories that I've been meaning to add, such as the cargo liner, cargo box, AMG door pins, tints, and some wheel locks.
It's been a little less than 4 months and about 4400miles. It still puts a smile on my face everytime I start the engine.

Sorry to hear that. I would have your dealer look at all 4 wheels to be sure they are not bent.
Good luck.

Welcome to the Wicked Wagon Club of America!
I love how they upgraded the night package compared to my 2014 (roof rails and door trims)! Now get that chrome strip on tailgate and grille surrondings "vinylwrapped" and complete the look!

Happy to join the club!! Haha
I don't mind the grille surround as it's a satin finish.
but i have been toying with the idea of blacking out the chrome strip on the tailgate. maybe i'll try plasti-dip first and see if i like it before i commit.
we'll see.

While your car is at the dealer, get the wheels checked out. Not necessary you can feel the vibration on a bent wheel. I hope not, but it sounded you hit a bump pretty hard.
Good luck.
