GAD E63 st.VIP: 1115hp and 1381Nm torque at crank

Please see a current dyno sheet of my GAD E63 st.VIP (still interim tune): 1115hp and 1381Nm torque both at crank.

wow! nice!! :) :) :) what are the upgrades?

I know before you had renntech turbo upgrade kit... how does the GAD setup feel compared to your old renntech turbo setup?

vkudenko444 11-12-2015 05:46 PM

Thx! The upgrades are the following: 5.8 built strocker, mod. turbos on GTX3076 CHRA, 2 "SLR-type" intercoolers instead one OEM in hot V, built transmission, direct air intake with conic air filters, water-meth injection. NoS is installed but not tested yet ;-)

aoschadlin 11-13-2015 01:02 AM

Nice numbers.

Just curious. Had you thought of running smaller injection nozzles and running just straight water? Just because I used to run water-meth injection on my last car and simply found it a pain to manage. :)

Someone recommended going straight water to remove the hassle and still get the cooling.

I'm looking to do a turbo upgrade at the moment and so am keenly looking at any information I can gather first. :)

JoeNobody 11-13-2015 12:39 PM

Any photos of the air intake? That's definitely the most powerful Mercedes I know of :zoom: :y

Straight water won't give you much.

why doesn't the chart cross at 5252rpm?

hp = (tq*rpm)/5252 which is why the lines always cross at 5252

because he AINT in 'MERICA cowboy and is he using that weird thing called the metric system... its kinda like witchcraft used in the salem witch trials :D

When you have a ps vs Nm graph they will not cross at 5252

5252 is for SAE power (hp) and torque (lb-ft)

7022 is for Metric power (PS) and torque (Nm)

Power(kW)=Torque(Nm)*n(RPM)/9,550
this is the european standart

or

Power(HP)=Torque(lb*ft)*n/5,252
this is the (american) english standart

and then

Power(HP)=Torque(Nm)*n(RPM)/7,022
this is a compromise between an US-dynometer and habits of european car nuts/fanatics

LOL but there's no 7022 on the chart? :nix:

they probably didnt want to run the car to 7022 just to see lines cross when they had already achieved max Nm ... why keep revving the engine

blackbenzz 11-17-2015 12:58 PM

That's badass! 5.8 stroker motor? Did you have a custom crank made?

vkudenko444 11-17-2015 01:51 PM

No it is stock.

How much did it cost to get your car to that level vk?

Well re pricing you better get in touch with GAD directly through their internet site. I stopped counting at some point.

How is it a stroker motor? Longer rods?

HPMan 11-17-2015 07:52 PM

Absolutely crazy! :y

As i understand vice versa - shorter connecting rods.

JoeNobody 11-18-2015 01:08 PM

Would shorter rods change the overall compression ratio?

I'm gonna guess wayyy more.... a renntech stage 2 turbo kit with downpipes and airboxs cost more than 30K installed

and this build is wayyyyy beyond that with custom intercoolers, built motor, built tranny, new turbos, meth injection, and probably 100's of dyno tunes to get it all working right...

plus its getting done in germany and its not cheap there.

PeterUbers 11-18-2015 04:44 PM

Ill guess $80,000
