Going for alignment next week

Going for alignment next week because the car is eating the inside of the front tires. I'm getting new tires tomorrow. Sumitomo HTRZIII. I know not the best tires, but I got a very good deal so hopefully they do okay. So is there anything I need to know for the alignment?

I can't comment on the tires you are getting, but I love my PSS. The are quiter than the OEM 19" tires and grap allot better.

As for alignment. You should be good just the alignment alone on all OEM wheels and tires. If you got 20" wheels, I would suggest getting alignment than normal. If you are lower, your should get toe links or chamber kits.

Good luck.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
The oem negative camber on this thing tends to eat the inside edge, especially the front.

I have read that this is a common problem, however my car was aligned by RBM in Atlanta early in it's life and last about a year ago by my local dealer here in Athens, GA. I don't seem to have the wear problem that others have experienced. Also regarding the Sumitomo HTR Z 111, I had these tires on a BMW and they last fairly well and are quiet, however the car did not respond well and the tires lacked lateral grip. It was easy to spin the rear tires and fish tail.

How did the Tires handle in the wet? Treadware and wet traction are my main concerns

Tread ware was ok. Wet traction was maybe below average. I did not have much confidence in the tires in the rain. At the time, back in the summer of 2011, I recall that my our Genesis V8 felt more planted in the rain, and it runs Bridgestone Serenity all season touring tires. But overall the Sumitomo was an ok tire for the money. The Sumitomo is ranked 16th out of 29 on tirerack.com link http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ay.jsp?type=MP

Got the Tires today. Nails in both rear tires replaced. Front tires fine. How does that happen? Multiple nails in each rear tire
