best dealers

Benzyl Busch is good. They are two exits once you cross the GW.

Interested in how many others have this same bad dealership experience. I thought it was just the local Toronto area dealers I had been using. I stopped using Mercedes for my work and am using a local independent who does good work and cares about my cars as much as I do.

Only time I've had a good Mercedes service experience was in Lakeland Florida. They roll out the red carpet and have an experience that I imagined Mercedes would be like when I purchased my first one.

Mcguirja,

My experience with MB of Foothill Ranch has been good. Straight shooters that return my car in great condition after each service. They flag items to consider, but never give a hard sell on non critical items.

I wonder if there is a different service philosophy between Canada and the US. My US experience has been phenomenal each time I've been there (Lakeland, Florida) and underwhelming in Canada consistently across several dealers in the Toronto area.

For non-warranty work I take both of my AMGs to Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park NJ http://www.bergenimports.com/. Have used that shop for over 10 years. They only work on German cars.
As far as the dealerships, I purchased my 2013 GLK at MB of Manhattan. Took my GLK there once for service A and never again. I used to take my C32 to Prestige MB in Paramus but stoped bout 10 years ago. Recently went back for a cracked rim work under warranty and they really made it easy for me. I'll PM you the name of the SA. If you take your car to the dealership for alignment, ask if they do it in-house. You may be better off taking your car to a specialized alignment shop since dealerships don't see a lot of alignment work.
