E63 S Alpha
Hi there, i have been absent from here for a while, well ever sense I sold my w211 E55. During this time I was a proud owner of '10 GTR. After fbo and English Racing tune I was pushing 580 at the wheels and did 10.9@128mph 1/4 here in PDX at PIR. All was well but I realy missed feel/looks/quality of German made interiors so after a year or so I just purchased '14 E63 S 4matic. Great car over all, loaded with goodies like distronic plus, cameras all around, driver assist, ceramic brakes, etc.... Two weeks of ownership I took the car to English Racing where they sent the ecu to AMS for some Alpha flashing. Before they took the ecu out they did baseline pulls on their dyno and we were all shocked. Benz advertised 577bhp but the car put down 546whp making it around 637bhp; nice! Two days later ecu was back and results are awesome; 619awhp which is around 760bhp! This is with tune only. I did res delete and that is it. Its been few weeks and no probs at all! $3000 was well worth it! Car is a beast. I did few roll runs with buddys '12 rwd E63 stock and i blew him out the water! I had 6 car lenghts on him 40-120. Just wanted to give my thoughts on how great and balanced the E63 s realy is! Great to be back on this great forum btw!

So you had an AMS tune and you gained 70hp and 130lb-ft of torque? That's odd... I thought they advertised more gains than that.

Welcome back to the forum. Was wondering if your friend's 2012 E63 RWD has the P30 performance package?

BTW, did you paint your calipers red? Usually the ceramic brake calipers are gold.

9 must be a blast! I put 6 car lenghts with new tune bud not stock for stock.

I completely agree CCBs aren't exactly necessary or a good value, but I'd still be interested in seeing the R&T comparison. Do you have a link? I tried googling for it, but couldn't find anything that looked similar.

If you search on this forum, you would find my old link on the R&T results. That was why I didn't get my with the CCBs. The stopping was 2 feet better , but R&T said it was not worth the money unless it is for track use.
