Curbed wheels with 360o Cameras/Park. assi. Pack. and rear end collision with DAP?

Curbed wheels with 360o Cameras/Park. assi. Pack. and rear end collision with DAP?
Crazy- looking at many pre-owned cars, and I saw some interesting things.
I found a Carfax reporting one that was involved in a rear end collision (had Drivers Assistance Package), and found another car with three out of four wheels curbed on the lip. This car had 360o cameras and Parking Assistance Package.
The first one, well, he might have been rear-ended. The other guy, how careless can you get?
I thought that these technologies are supposed to prevent these sorts of goof ups.
