Rear air vent

One of the adjusters on my rear air vent is broken. I ordered a new on online.
Does anyone know how to take off the old part and replace with the new part?
Thanks in advance for any help.

My new (used) part came in the mail today. Thanks to your instructions I got the old broken vent out and the new on installed.
This is what the forum is all about helping other members.
Thanks again.

Take a picture of your broken part. I kept my broken part and may have the part that you need. I bought a whole unit and took it apart and replaced only the broken part not the whole unit.
