Weird clicking noise while turning right
Recently picked up a E63S, and didn't notice it the first few days and all of a sudden while I was parking one day I heard the weird clicking noise as shown in the video, took it to the dealer they couldn't figure it out and after I took it back from the dealer even while cruising the noise is apparent as well. It use to be only when I was turning right, anyone have any insights on what could be causing this? Tech at the dealer said the ball joints, control arms and suspension all checked out ok.

Somebody with an e350 had similar sound was the front differential where the axle connects
Another with an e63S had gravel in the axles and this was clear out and resolved
Is this a new car?

It might be the front axle differential the car pulls to the right under hard acceleration and yes it's a new car, I'm taking it back to the dealer in the next couple of days

I have experienced the same noise. But it seems to only happen when im backing out of my girlfriends driveway and I have the steering wheel locked clockwise. It does not happen anywhere else! I have also had the suspension looked at and everything was good. I was thinking in my case that it may be a result of having the wrong tire size on the front which came with the car 255/30/19. I should have my new wheels and tires installed by next week I will report back if the noise goes away.

If yes, it's normal.

Tell those smart techs not to deliver a car back to a customer without a fix. If they can't figure it out they call for help from regional tech

Just got my car back from the dealership after a third visit, noise is still there they lubricated the front axle noise seems to be a bit better but not by much. Dealership said at this point they can only deem it "normal" thats a load of **** to me. Anyone here manage to fix their clicking noise?

Hi OP, is your problem resolved? My 2016 cls63 start to make this noise recently. It sounds exactly the same from your video, I sent the car to the service 2 times already. First time they told me they couldn't replicate the noise, the second time they told me they did a lubrication and apparently the noise is gone. However after I got my car back the noise is still there! At this point they basically told me it seems normal, because they checked every part of the suspension and all seem fine....

Nope still not resolved I went three times already, they did replace the front axle under warranty but the noise was still there lol they said it wasn't a safety concern and that it was just a "noise" I went to Benzworks and another shop they both said the suspension, control arms, etc all checks out fine

It's the wheel bearings. My old X5M had wheel bearing clicking so I know the sound real well. My car does it too, I have an appointment to get it looked at tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. But mine was not the wheel bearing. At first I thought the wheel bearing was the culprit too(sound similar to your video), however my dealership told me they did inspect all the wheel bearings and found no problem at all. And since the car was still relatively new I highly doubt the wheel bearing would fail this early too...
