Stopped in the Mercedes dealer today and they just got picture's of the 2017 Mercedes E400. This car should be available around early January of next year. Its going to have the V6 twin turbo motor like whats available now. The AMG should look about the same I believe. Note the smaller tail lights like on some of the 2016 models, the E's are going with them too. This is the "Sport" front end and they will still have the "luxury" nose available too, at least on the non AMG models, I believe the AMG wagon nose will be the Sport and will not have the luxury nose option as it is now. Reason I'm interested in the E400 is because I want to get one as my general driver and keep my 2012 AMG wagon as my weekend car. The price on the Wagons and the Sedans is going around $1000.00 less than the 2016's models, unusual they go down on price rather than up but I believe they were able to lower manufacturing costs a little bit. I think I will order the White Exterior with the Red interior if it's a possible combination. The dealer is going to call me as soon as I can order one. I hope to get my order in around October and get the car in January. The pictures are not the greatest quality as I was taking a picture of the picture with my iPhone and got some glare as it was outside.
