Renntech body kit

http://www.renntechmercedes.com/inde...212fl-e63-aero

Anyone else crazy enough to install the full Renntech body kit (almost nine grand installed)? I just put down a deposit and will have mine in about three weeks. This includes CF splitter, diffuser, and spoiler. Didn't want to pay this much at first but nobody else has a CF splitter nor a facelift diffuser with CF tips:

Decided also to not do any wrapping/dipping. When you account for having to redo a full wrap in five years then your total costs aren't really less than this kit.

I'm crazy enough. On my Polar white wagon. It even better in person.

What pictures do you want? Any specific details? As I said, my wagon is Polar White, just like the one in the pictures that you linked to. It will not look any different, other than Renntech pictures will look better than my phone pictures.

If you can afford it why not? That kit is gorgeous!

Looking forward to the pics!

OK. Here are some of the pictures that I had on my phone. If anyone needs any specific detailed angles or has questions regarding the install, just ask. Sorry for the dirty car but I actually do take it to Home Depot sometimes.

Looking nice. I just wish they did a CF grill also, currently there is no aftermarket grill that fits the facelifted E63.

Agreed. Or at least for the Night Package (which is what I have) blacked out the chrome.

mother of god.. don't know if I would spend that kind of loot, but damn.. I would probably put 9g's under the hood first, but then again, I see your signature has one nasty C63 for the weekend monster. Such a sweet looking ride man.

Locomotive as opposed to a refrigerator on wheels? I'll take the locomotive.

I was looking to get the rear spoiler. Can you explain the fitting/installation of it? did you take it to a body shop?
TIA

Like the rear but I'm on the fence about the front. I think I would like it if it were on a black or dark grey car.

I did take it to Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park NJ. I've been taking my cars there for over 10 years and trust that shop 100%. The kit comes with double-sided tape, but that is not a good way to attach this kid. The rear roof spoiler is the easiest of the 3 to install. There was no cutting involved for the roof spoiler. The shop used some professional body parts adhesive and it is holding the parts on the car pretty well. No movement of the parts at all.

thanks, I am in Seattle so I need to find a reputable body shop. Do you track the car and noticed some improvement in handling?

If you mean Autocross, not this car. I also doubt very much there would be much, if any improvement. It is a wagon. The roof line is already very long. It does look nice however. And the front, although looks very aggressive for some, appears to be capable of ramming more air into the engine bay and that should help improve the temps under the hood. Just don't ask me for any before and after graphs. I don't have any.
