Hit the dragway (several runs)
First time at the dragway, as spectator and participant. Had a great time. Still trying to figure it all out...ride height, suspension settings, RS, Sport+, etc.
Nice evening here in central Florida. These were my two best runs, and also my last two runs. Will definitely go back to practice a bit, and I'm sure I'll look for some incremental power gains as well. Good times.
These were both brake torque runs. I did utilize race start a few times as well with similar results, but these were my best.
2nd best...11.573 @122.91 mph
best..........11.552 @122.20 mph
DA of 2374
93 octane

Not stock, Peter. Tuned w/ catless downpipes. First time out. The numbers are what they are, but I'll be back. Highly recommend getting out to the strip....pretty cool.

i am surprised at low trap speed for the amount of hp/ mods you have... 122mph is close to stock trap... do you log your runs? maybe your car was pulling timing on those runs

Hit the track this weekend. Another warm Florida evening, but good attendance.
- lowered tire pressure to 45psi (was > 50 last event, as my tires had just been swapped)
- mix of 93 octane and 100 octane (1/8 tank 93 & 3/8 tank 100)
Best: 11.53 @ 124.25 mph ....used race start
Tried to brake torque once, must've been too high in rpms, bogged it, ran a 12.x. Going to practice launching with no RS.
I bought a ODBii scanner, but didn't run it yet. Will do when I have more time to prep next visit to the track.

I put about 30 miles on the car with the mix prior to racing. First pass trapped at 124mph....about 2 mph higher than with 93 octane only.

To do it properly you step on the brake first and floor the brake. Then your floor the gas and simply let the revs come up to about 2500 and release the brake. it's that simple

Thanks. Yes we had at least 50 to 60 launches that day and we tested it both in race start and brake torquing and found that the best results were from brake torquing where you release the brake at about 2500 RPMs.
