M157 180F Thermostats modified by PTE

We have a few OEM modded M157 thermostats (180F)

PTE is well known for modifying thermostats to keep the engine coolant temps a lower than stock levels.

Price is 399 plus ship

had this mod on my E55...

Lowers the engine coolant temp by allowing coolant can start circulating through the radiator much sooner than stock.

might be worth for those who track or extreme weather states....

if you have a separate cooling reservoir for your intercooler.. might not be as effective. But engine temps will be lower always a plus.

Shardul: tell us about the IC PUMP? any benefits to replace?

OEM ones are good for a stock system or a system with a bigger heat exchanger.
Maybe in a couple of years you will see the stock pumps starting to fail or get weak.
