Reading texts on screen of 2012 212 with iPhone?

Reading texts on screen of 2012 212 with iPhone?
Anybody know how to set up so that text can be read on the screen with a iPhone? I know it's possible, I remember with my old Galaxy phone it would show the texts a few years back, just can't figure out how to do it with my iPhone, where it says text's at the bottom of the screen is not highlighted so I cannot click on it? There must be some setting on the phone I need to set to allow this?

on the iphone go into Settings -> Bluetooth -> Select MB Bluetooth by pressing the i ->Toggle on Show Notifications and Sync Contacts.

That should do it.

Bluetooth properties
go into your Bluetooth and go under your Mercedes Bluetooth connection and turn on notifications and sync contacts.

Thanks for the info, thats what it was that notifications was not turned on. That was simple.
