Rebound relationship!
2 completely different machines, both exhilarating in their own ways.
First impressions
boy is the E63 a fast car! I did not really push the GT yet but it does not feel as fast or as powerful as the E.
more direct contact with road in the GT. It feels really lighter and more nimble (does not feel like a muscle car at all - they really nailed the suspension on the new gen stang!). Exhaust note with valves open is scarry! (Renntech muffler on the E was also pretty impressive but more subtle)
the Recaro seats, although manual without any "dynamic" bolsters, are quite comfortable and holding well in the curves
fit and finish is quite impressive for an american car. Does not have the class of the E.
first contact with Sync3 is good. way ahead of MBs Command system
I think I might be able to fit 2 of my 3 children in the back seat... now I just need to figure out what to do with the third one! (Still have the Saab wagon for family emergencies)
I had a lot of fun on this forum in the last 5 years. learned a lot about these incredible machines, even some friendship emerged.
I still will come back to see wazzup in the AMG bandwagon and might come back sooner than later (E63 Wagon BS???)
Enjoy your cars in good health!
I actually almost pulled the trigger on a '17 GT350 in the same color combo (with electronics package). My wife convinced me not to carry a 3rd car and just upgrade the daily driver to the E63 S. I still love the GT350. Good luck with it and post some pics!
Looking forward to Friday morning to meet up at Mt-Tremblant track day for some Viper vs GT350 action.

Although, I would be reluctant to touch the exhaust too much. I love the sound. Maybe delete the resonators like the R models.
