In real life, "feel" may change / reverse based on user experience over years of ownership....

Everyone has their own tastes, I had one BMW in my life, a tuned 135i, it was a decent car but historically, I've preferred my AMG's (hence why i've had so many). I'm sure there are plenty of guys on the BMW forums saying exactly the same about their cars.
