Carbon fiber insert for side skirts beneath doors
Does anyone know if someone makes a carbon fiber insert that goes inside the side skirts beneath the doors? I thought I saw this somewhere on the MB board but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks

I did find these interesting pieces. I just emailed them for a price.

Someone makes a full replacement front CF piece that replaces the factory parts those stock onto. Its also more aggressive than stock. I've seen a picture but don't know where to get it.

Found it, ridiculous price though.

I bought the gloss black (night style) inserts from the dealer, $300 each. I'm going to have them hydro dipped with the carbon fiber look and my body shop will install them. There are tabs on the back of the inserts so it will be interesting to see how they get installed. You can order them in carbon fiber from the dealer but they are very expensive. I had my rear diffuser hydro dipped and clear coated with incredible results.

That's an interesting thought. Does it look like a real carbon weave or just like checkers?
If it looks identical to real carbon I'd consider doing my diffuser, side inserts and the black portions of the front bumper (I have Nightstyle Package), and maybe even the grille.

On the lower areas of the car it is very difficult to tell the difference between the carbon fiber and the carbon print. Carbon fiber has that 3 dimensional look, the print does not. I'm very particular with my car and I think it looks great. Here are a few pics of the interior I had dipped.
Are the tips easy to swap or do you have to drop the exhaust? Thanks

That appears to be awesome alternative. A couple of question. How does this hold up over the long haul? And over time would it be possible to return those parts to stock?

I do agree the 5d/6d carbon fiber wrap looks pretty nice

With very few exceptions is like saying that an AMG is exclusive or unique.

I actually have a set of the chrome tips, I did try to install them, but gave up quickly I removed the two bolts and that allows you to slide the tip back but it slides back into the the muffler ends, is there something I'm missing ? Do you know the proper way to remove them please let me know I will try again , Thanks

I'm trying to source the black night pack pieces but can't find part numbers anywhere.
Thanks much,

Carbon fiber insert
I have the stock carbon fiber for sale if your interested? I bought them to exchange the hydro dipped ones on the car but my bodyshop said it would be to hard to take the existing ones off.
