What are the thoughts on this? I am new to the car, but am surprised the water temps are so high....the oil temps too for that matter.

Has anybody used the lower temp t stat? Thoughts?

It will open the tstat so the water will circulate faster.

I haven't seen abnormally high water temps and if I did I'd look elsewhere for a fix. These were bandaids for the old M113k platform before we divorced the engine coolant and I/C systems but I wasn't a big fan of it then either.
