Not looking to turn this into a Dyno War or a lesson in advanced mathematics. If I take the stock dyno numbers and correct them to get to the MB published spec and then use that same correction factor for the other stages this is what the tables looks like. I have been focused on the area under the curve vs. the peak numbers as the gains were the objective. Googling "dyno comparisons" will give you enough reading for a lifetime.

By no means do I claim to be a dyno analytics expert, however when we were getting educated on tuning I was told by multiple people that I have come to trust that ideally you would tune on a Mustang dyno as it provides the most control and repeatability (though conservative output numbers) and then you would use a dyno-jet to set your benchmarks for comparison (more aggressive numbers).

I get it....which is why I'll be looking to get baseline numbers at the dragstrip as well as dyno.

100% agreed.....I have stock numbers, I will have stage 2 numbers but nothing for stage 1 as all day long I was an idiot and could not launch the car it was 100% driver error.

i would say 1.28 CF is pretty good guestimate for converting mustang dyno to crank hp since mustangs typically dyno 10-15% lower than dynojet and then driveline loss from crank to wheels is about another 15%... so that would give a rough CF of 1.27 to 1.32 for whp mustang dyno number to crank numbers

That is what I was generally told as well. It pretty common that these cars are delivered from MB making greater than published stock, but to keep things easy I just converted back to published stock. Super happy with everything that has been done so far!

Custom Painted Badges Back On

After we had the car wrapped with the xpel stealth we never re-applied the badges. Once we got the wheels painted we liked the contrast of the dark gray, and taking the queues from the awesome Red S badge here on MBWorld we put the badges back on....

The "T" was not playing nice but now it has stepped into line! Honestly I like the debugged look other than the sides. Those indents for the badges being empty looked odd.

+1 I've debased my car and while very happy with the back, I still think about putting the sides back on. It does look an it empty. I've though about putting something smaller there, like just "V8" or "turbo".
