I didn’t even know the Jag XF Sportbrake existed (especially in the US) before I read this. Never seen one.

I don't think many people do, there's still 100+ New 2018's around the country that will be 2 model years old soon, when the 2020's arrive. Since they didn't sell well in 2018 there were hardly any 2019's imported.
Most are selling for $20 - $30K off original MSRP. now and I'm sure can negotiate quite a bit more on the ones that aren't at least $20K off.
Ex. 5 New ones in SLC - New SportBrakes Jag SLC

My buddy snapped this at carmax in Temecula CA today, only happens once every couple years nationwide. It’s a ‘13, looks like the seldom seen 18” wheel option. But carmax warrantee available!

This is the one listed with 6,000 miles. Looks like it was a La Jolla peach. Asking price is heavy, but likely worth it if condition validates 6k mile ownership.

I just picked this up last week. Loving it so far. A few blemishes to correct.

Fully loaded except ccb. I am loving all of the carbon and the performance package upgrades.

For my own knowledge, what fits (accessory wise) in the tray in the truck above the spare. And, are the front carbon lip cover oem or does someone know a brand?

Thanks

lmk if you have any questions.

Congrats on your new wagon. I've still got my 2016 and I'm located in the beaches. I've strictly had wagons since the late 90's and this was my first MB as well. I came from an S4 Avant (6sp MT) as Audi wouldn't send over their fast and fun wagons. I've enjoyed the AMG and even took a trip to Affalterbach to meet my engine builder but still have a soft spot in my heart for Audi wagons. Regardless, thank you MB for giving us what we want!

Enjoy the car and hope to see you around!

Thanks.

Im coming from an 04 e55. I have lusted over super wagons since the b5 rs4 so I’m very happy to have found a great ride.

Just like all of the pre facelift people out there, I too considered the 14+ models. I have daily searched for what I think is a good buy for well over a year. Like everyone else here knows, the good wagons with great pricing are the true unicorns and they are impossible to obtain.

This was a 41k purchase with 42k miles. I will be adding 5yrs of fidelity warranty. I was able to find this car based on finding pre advertising as well as immediately asking for pictures and offering a deposit. Within 24hrs, before a true listing I had driven and purchased the car. Upon arrival, 4 other deposits had been made.

The car car is not perfect and will need some scrapes and dings taken care of but the fact that it was unmolested, stock, clean Carfax and able to be warranted meant I could look no further.

I imagined I would be in awd. I contemplated making the leap but the true leap is to the w213 which is not in my current price range. I think many feel that true AMG lunacy is put through the rear wheels. This allows me to make an interim step and then hopefully offer a warranted car to the next buyer.

Ive talked about getting a wagon to many of my coworkers that did not understand, that is until I showed up with it.

An amazing machine that has it quirks and should provide many miles of smiles.

We have about 5 S212 models TOTAL in Australia - zero facelifted, as they removed it from the order catalogue. No new E63 wagons here since January 2013. I've written two owner reviews on caradvice.com.au if you're interested. Love mine to bits and yours looks fantastic too. Best of luck with it!

Thank you! I too come from a B7 S4 Avant (6 sp MT)! Most recently moved from a Volvo V60 into the E63. She's is my daily driver, dog hauler and cottage shuttle. I'm in the west-end by High Park.
Next, I'm going to start shopping for a winter wheel/tire setup and racks!

I suspect the RS6 won't be priced near the going prices for the W212.

And that was exactly my thoughts. We are talking about a 75k difference, as this thing will be maxed out at 150 in my opinion because of all those options. I will let someone else take all of the depreciation.

As a side-bar, I had a b5 1.8t and a b5 s4. Those two cars each maxed out their warranties by 100k miles. Audi did not stand by a factory defect so I moved to BMW. BMW also had a known bad engine which dies outside of cpo warranty and was I had a terrible experience with them. Zero warranty-able problems with the e55. Because of this experience, I wait for all the bugs to be worked out by not buying into a first year model.

Im a service oriented person and those other two brands did not work for me. What i personally find the best car to be is the one where you have a great relationship with the seller and serviced. I don’t have that Audi person right now.

Kudos to Mercedes with producing amg wagons for the past few decades while Audi came in 15 plus years later after the rs6 hit our shores. While the slogan may be “never follow” they seemingly really jumped on the amg wagon market in the US.

Mine is also my DD, dog hauler and kid conveyance. I'm a Yakima rack guy and still use most of the pieces from my S4 Avant and the rocket box, while awesome, doesn't really suit the AMG. The INNO boxes look pretty great IMHO! As far as winter wheel/tire, I've got with the stock (staggered) set up on Michelin Alpin tires. I've been very happy with that set up.
