Yes, I just saw them post 840whp on what they call a mild tune to save the trans!

Calling bs on that?

They claim they could go 900 but didn't. I'm honestly just glad there is another option.

Even if that part is bs but the dyno is accurate, this kit is spanking everyone at a fraction of the price!

I saw this too and if really 6k and over 800whp then it's a no brainer for turbo upgrade ... seems like precision tuning is the Mb shop of the year at this moment as they are the same guys that did the meth e63 that ran 10.6/133 on stock turbos

Finally a solution to outrun all those M cars doing 10.3 on stock turbos.

yeah the E63 that did that 10.6 is now the same car with these turbos. Will be interesting to see what this runs now. At least some vbox numbers would help give us better insight until it's at the track.

yeah that's the cool thing too as we saw what he ran in meth w/0 tune for meth (10.9/128) and then tune for meth 10.6/133 and we will see now pureturbo stg 2 840 whp numbers soon as seems like he gets his car to the track often... will be cool since same car , same driver , probably same track, just different mod

subscribed , vbox would give us a great idea , since traction can be the issue , 60-130 would be great .
to late pure turbos , a month ago I would jump on that right away and my trans is build .

For the low low price of $5,995 and 800+rwhp I wouldn't want those stock turbos anymore haha.

That's insane power/price ratio compared to all the other tuners and their turbo upgrade packages. Question is how long will a trans last with that much HP/TQ? Some guys here have blown the trans on just tune alone...

And just when I thought turbo's were a waste...

At that price point I'd give it a go.

It used to be a waste with what other companies charged.

In total I wonder what it would cost:
-Core removal labor
-New turbos ($5,995 plus tax)
-Install labor
-Tuning labor

total estimate?

11-12k depends on who does the labor , I'll do it for 2k plus parts . I've done it so many times lol

blown trans on tune with stock turbos shouldn't be happening. I wonder why they blew the trans

Saw this. WOW and that price is on point... Sooo wondering if the added any type of BOV or DV with that kind of boost? Ive been really impressed with the tuning Precision has been doing it seems they have cracked in a bit more than others without a problem. Good job guys!

Hmm... wonder if they'll come up with a turbo upgrade for the 550's or the 400's as well?

You can also use stock M157 turbos on your M278.

They use machined A/R. 0.50 housings from MB from what I saw. What are they doing different than many tuners before? I think the housing is a limitation.
