Wheel/trim color options with steel grey exterior
Hi all-
I have a 2012 E63 Wagon in Steel Grey over Black with the gold carbon ceramic brake calipers. Because I am morally opposed to leaving well enough alone, I want to wrap the trim and upgrade to 20" wheels. With my old wagon, one was black and the other diamond white-made things really easy! With this car, I am worried that black seems to not contrast very well, and most of the dark grey wheel colors are too close to the paint color for my liking. Interested in if anyone has seen some combos they like on steel grey cars, and what they are, or if people think I'm crazy and should just go with satin black and call it a day. Including some pictures from the previous rides (E55 wagon, E63 wagon) and the new girl.

Have you thought about getting another set of the AMG wheels and just having them painted? I was able to find a set of takeoffs from another forum member and I had the painted by one of the wheel repair companies in my area. They turned out awesome, and the color that I chose was an AMG factory paint code that is very similar to your body color.
