I just did, actually. Know the history and get a very thorough PPI - if they've been kept up and if the warranty was well-utilized, then you should be fine. The W212 biturbos have been pretty strong cars.
If I had to make up a rule: Used, out of warranty AMG disclaimer is always to plan for 10% of purchase price to be in maint/repair in first year and half. If you buy for $45k, $4.5k is basically brakes, plugs, full fluids, alignment, and two regular services.

Yep, Joe's car. I'm glad he didn't has a small oil leak I need to chase down but otherwise is awesome! Fingers crossed I get a year or so out of the CCBs! What car are you looking at now?
