Would You Trade Your E63S for a C63S Coupe?

Just looking for opinions here since I ordered a 2017 C63 S over three months ago and it looks like it will be in in a couple of weeks. Currently driving a 2014 E63S in Cardinal Red but was looking for a coupe and since there is no E63 coupe I ordered the C63 coupe sight unseen. Still haven't seen one.

Don't need four doors any more and don't think the extra power in the E will be that noticeable with the lighter weight of the C. Like the awd in the E but also miss hanging the rear out without effort like I could in my E55. A slightly smaller coupe seems to fit the bill nicely.

Trade in value was acceptable but not what I think the cars worth considering color, options, and condition. Anyone interested in a possible deal on this rare color E63S before I trade it PM me. Current mileage, 35,000. CPO car with warranty till 2019.

Can't say that I'd make that trade but I'm sure the C won't disappoint. I personally can't see myself owning a two door again unless it's a dedicated sports car.

I looked hard at the Porsche 911, F Jag and even considered an SL but decided a dedicated sports car just wasn't suitable for the kind of driving I do. I live in south Florida and there isn't a hill or a corner or a twisty anywhere unless you consider on and off ramps, "twisty's". Plus, I can use the rear seats for tossing my stuff since no one is likely to ever sit back there. But, yea, I haven't owned a coupe in 30 years so I'm a bit undecided. Suppose I'll just have to drive it when it comes in and see how I like it.

Also, I went to the dark side with my specs. Brilliant blue with the black/red interior and 20" black wheels.

I guess the two cars in my avatar qualify as a dedicated sports car and a coupe but they're not daily drivers. The Camaro is driven to shows etc. Too nice to drive daily. The Cobra replica, (Factory 5), is my 4-wheel Harley and gets used about as much. The C63 should look good in Blue parked between those two.

Even with the weight difference I think it's a big difference in power. I rode in a c63s and did not feel as fast as the E, I think you should tune it. The 4.0l biturbo is supposedly a great engine.

I'd actually consider a 2017 c63s sedan to replace my e63s because of the weight savings IF they had 4matic. AWD is a must for me for a daily driver.

No.
Too small, not enough doors.

The C63 S is a full half-second slower in the quarter mile, which is a huge difference. However, you may "feel" the C63 is faster, because the E63 has better suspension and sound dampening that you never feel as fast as you are going. C63 is still a harsh ride from what i've read from others.

Your E63 is beautiful. Normally I hate the red Mercedes color, but with your graphite wheel set up, and the blackout package, it looks great! I would probably black out that trim on the doors however. Would really transform the look with that one small change.
