As the title states, it first happened to me in traffic, I was hearing the engine/ drive line engaging, as if it would when you put your foot on the gas...but thing is, my foot wasn't.
So I was at a complete stop, traffic opened up a little and I let the car coast from a stand still and to my surprise it moved as if gas was applied up to just about over 1k rpm and then stops, then it would repeat its self again after a brief period.
Any one face this?
its as if you are driving a manual car and it does it not to stall, but with out your intervention
Put car in drive and let it drive it's self and see how your RPM acts
In the vid right at the start top right corner, you see the van informant of me move, here I let off the brakes and rest is all the car..and no distroinc is no engaged
Replicated it on an empty road and happens as well
Went to get it checked at dealer, no codes stored and are baffled as to what is happening

"Creeping" is normal, the variation in speed/RPM is not. I wonder if you have a vacuum issue or something else that is causing rough idle, which, when the gear is engaged causes you to accelerate.
Engine RPM with change with the A/C turning on/off.

I to thought it might be a leak, but car idles fine. Its just that if left to its self, as you state creep, it over creeps then backs off
Other then that car is more then fine
I remember when I first got me car ECO would not active due to A/C being on. This was in the summer and demand was great... Once I found the ECO to be working as it should.. I turn it off. Maybe a tune can turn ECO off for good. Try driving with ECO off if anything changes...

My car is in the dealer so I can't try this , remember when in comfort mode the trans starts off in 2nd gear the computer might compensate this with rpm to move the car easier , try it in sport , sport plus , and in manual mode the rpms raise a little at idle , not sure what mode you where in when this happened, it's just another thoughtOriginally Posted by sunil517
