I just bought an E63 AMG, 2014, it has Keyless Go - Im able to open and close the doors without using the key fob - but it came without the silver start/stop engine button. I tried a new button in a MB dealer but it only showed a message that it was not recognizing the key fob. What is wrong with my car's Keyless Go sustem

Should I change the key fob or should I buy a very specific silver engine start/stop button?

Try a new battery in the key fob.

 

Is this a US spec e63?

i would take it to dealer and ask for that button and anything else involved in making this right

 

Problem solved!!! The dealer was trying to make it work with a button from a 2017 car. I suggested him to try with an older model button (it is a button from a 2013 car), and bang! worked at first try!
