w212 e63s tires... maybe michelin PS4S
so, these tires seem to be better than the super sports which is good because i been due for tires, and noticed the PS4S comes out in march. so I'm holding off... just checked the website and they have available sizes that will be coming out soon. the same sizes these e63 guys(with AWD) run on stock wheels are available in PS4S with the same revolutions per mile front & rear(799 revs' each, website doesn't show it but the online chat with a tech told me)
sizes i am interested in are:
front: 255/35ZR19(96Y) 799 revs/mile
rear: 295/30ZR19(100Y) 799 revs/mile

i wanted to get the PS4s but my contisportcontact5s were down to the cords on one tire and pretty bad on others so i had to get new tires and found some conti extreme DW on the cheap so go them for the meantime..... they definitely are way more squishy and floaty (think lincoln towncar) feeling than the previous sportcontact5 i had on... they definitely dont inspire confidence in high speed corning
only upside is they do very well in florida's torrential downpours thunderstorms

Would it benefit running 255/295 setup on a tuned E63 or would stock sizes be same performance?

stock size... going from 285 to 295 would most likely be negligible on awd in terms of grip on street tires... reason people have to go 295 on michelin pss/ps4 is because they dont make them in 285

Can one up upsize to 265 mm F, 295 mm R like the W213? They said I couldn't do it on my E60 M5, but I did with minor spacers (wheels were non OEM 20") and it works fine.

There's not going to be any fire sale...
On PSS...all Michelin inventory is already low. Lots of popular part numbers on low inventory. And no way you can count on those inventory estimate dates. You'll be riding around on steel. They dont even have production plans yet for some matching sets for popular cars (e.g., they are making the fronts, but are undecided as to whether to offer the rears).

Currently have stock P Zeros and I was also looking for replacement tires since I got a lot of nails/patches in the tires. I was going to get the new A/S3+ but going with PS4S as well. Had the PSS on my X5M and they were great overall.

Yeah. I inquired about a size that...
was not on the initial batch of new numbers. Finally was told last week it would be May before they had some to sell.

But the r888's don't have the same rolling diameter front/rear. As the stock tires do or as the PS4S do.
And the r888r's, the fronts aren't XL load rated. Only Rears are XL. Not sure if it's safe or not to run a non-XL rated tire up front.
Front 821 vs 798 revs per mile for both r888r and r888.
On the r888R Fronts aren't XL load rated. Only Rears are XL rated. 265/30/19 & 295/30/19
On the old style r888 both front and rear is XL rated for 265/30/19 & 295/30/19
