ABOUT FORGESTAR
With over 30 years of combined experience in the automotive wheel industry Forgestar Performance Wheels has bridged the gap between forged wheels and cast wheels. Forgestar Performance Wheels is proud to introduce the world’s first one piece lightweight rotary forged custom flow formed wheel lineup.
Rotary Forged Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually “flows” down to create the full rim width. The pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. Our technological breakthroughs in heat treating allow us to increase dent resistance without having to make the wheel heavier.
Forgestar Performance Wheels proprietary Rotary Forged Flow Forming technology allows the customers to choose between a range of offsets for every wheel width that is offered. The end consumer is able to choose a wheel that will perfectly fit their own individual vehicle. All Forgestar Performance Wheels are compatible with tire pressure sensor monitors and allow clearance for most high performance brake caliper upgrades.

I like Forgestars but they're not really "custom" when I have to choose given width and offsets and can't specify what I want...

Not really sure what you mean as they have a wide range off widths and offsets? If you wanted to run a 20x9 F14 for example, then your range would be 20×9.0 offsets from +12 to +56.

On more than one occasion I've tried to specify custom width and offsets with Forgestar and I couldn't. I was told what my choices were. Unless something has changed in the last 6 months they're not custom...

On the W212
F14
19x9.5 et32
19x11 et 50
I can't remember what offsets I wanted on my W211 but I remember setting for something and having to order spacers.

You had your KW HAS installed by us and apparently are currently having some issues so you decided to have us check it out. After not showing up for your first appointment with us with no courtesy call we gave you another appointment to come in. The issue you are having is with your brake pads and has nothing to do with suspension.
All you are basing your claim on is because the dealer said they can't work on your car because it has aftermarket suspension installed. I told you to bring anything from the dealer saying the issue is caused by the KW kit and you said no problem. Now you are bashing us? I don't know how else I can help!

Wow, you sound more like a customer rather the provider. Yes, Mercedes refuse to correct the problem due to the issue that they specifically identify coming from the KW HAS you sold and installed on mine car and this was identified from 2 different Mercedes service and now your shop is better at understanding Mercedes than the Mercedes dealer themselves. Furthermore your guy ( the gentleman with the tatted arms ) had already mentioned to me when he was in the car with me when I duplicated the noise to him that they are known issues with the KW Has so that indicates there are known issues that you were not forthcoming when you made the sale. Now comes time to start the blaming and your shop blame mine brakes which was recently replace by Mercedes and ruled out as the problem by both Mercedes dealer I took it to.
Wow. Just wow Golen,

What my guy said was that the springs could be binding. There is no known issue with KW HAS. We inspected your car like promised and found 0 issues with the suspension. What more would you like us to do?
Telling me that Mercedes says it is a suspension issue does not warrant putting your OEM suspension back to stock for free. You also mentioned you had a check engine light which we did not see. I told you yesterday and I will tell you again... Have Mercedes give us a written statement that the issue is coming from the suspension and what the issue is. Have them give me a code from the check engine light so I could diagnose the issue (You said this should not be an issue) and I will cover everything on us!

This is is your typical take the money and run transaction. It only take once for me to stay away.

Sounds like they are trying to make things right and you are the one being obstreperous.
You have 5 posts on here, the majority of which are an attempt to slander Autotalent. I don't think you have much credibility.
