Ran a newer S8 the other night on the freeway. He came up hard instigating a run so I assumed he was tuned. I had a passenger and he didn't so I was sure it wouldn't end up in my favor but he must have been stock because I easily put 2-3 cars on him from 75-110.

Yup. For me it goes: RS6>S8 Plus>S8>RS7

When the prices drop on the S8 Plus I would seriously think about one. A little bigger than what I want and need, but I like the way it looks and the engine is fantastic. The interior though is getting a little dated.

i guess either it's that or the E is exceeding your expectations lol.

Your also RWD so that helps a lot against it.

i've been thinking similar lately especially now that s8's are trapping 130... amazing for full size luxury sedan! twin-scroll turbo ftw

do a TTE800 turbo uprade and should be trapping close to 135

or do a TTE9xx00 turbo uprade and should be trapping close to 140, maybe more depending on how far you want to build it

Glad ur OK... I didn't know about your accident.

Very good summary, BTW. And I'm a huge fan of the RS7 and think the style is awesome... however I only get wagons for cycling, skiing, kids, dog, etc. And yes, I would take the RS6 Avant over the AMG too despite the smaller boot size. That red wagon is insanely killer looking.

Cheers
