What dealer services would wipe out a Flash
Hey guys,
Let's imagine that hypothetically someone just sent some money to Eurocharged to tune the ECU. I still have warranty left, but I'm not super concerned about them voiding the whole warranty (because that's illegal). So let's assume I come clean on the tune, but need something unrelated fixed like a sagging air suspension or a rattly sunroof.
Is there a way for them to use their star diagnostics system without blowing up my tune? again, don't care if they detect it (which they will I'm sure).
It's not like "connect OBD2 port...KABLAM...INSTANT ECU WIPE" right? I assume someone has to select "software update" or something?

Basically if you send the car in with a problem they can't replicate / detect / find but you say it is present etc. The first thing they will do is update all the firmware on the car.

Why don't they just patch everything at once
Sigh.I'm always going to fear taking this thing to the dealer I'm sure once tuned
