He's a Booger http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=booger
An annoying person that you can't get away from. Much like a booger, this person is very annoying and the only way to get rid of them is by wiping them off to someone else. The other person must now deal with this annoying booger.
The Audi and BMW boards are looking for boogers![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)

did you not read a few posts above?
the e63 wagon you posted racing the m5 was a U.K. RWD version of the wagon.
You gonna compare the time that does from a dig to an Rs6 wagon? Makes no sense it's not apples to apples at all. Neither is the race against the m5 with it weighing in at 4700 pounds vs 4300 and more low end torque making it spin much more than M5 with RWD.

I know it happened about a decade ago but I hate that this place turned into the m5board. Comments used to be so constructive...

Stock for stock, E63S is faster overall. With a tune, the X5M is faster because its able to get off the line quicker.

But a lot more action, this place was a ghost town 3-5 years ago. The only action it got was for how many things were being shipped from a sale thread

Thats right. With turbocharged engines the Mercedes is in the new age of tuning. Once this car gets cheaper in the used market and younger enthusiasts are able to afford them, guess whats going to happen? Tuning! And they are going to be flooding forums looking for help from community. But they will be disapointed with both tuning and community. Unless something changes.

Could not disagree more. I've made real friends in the AMG community and beyond. Some have Audi's, some have c63/e63, some have m or p cars. Everyone appreciates everyone else and their rides. And I've been very happy with the tuning community. Had a blast with this car and decided to keep it for a while. More fun stuff coming. Again, if you want the fastest car on paper, it ain't this one. It also ain't the m5. It also ain't a stock Aventador....you get the drift. Just have fun and appreciate things. If you don't like this car or the community, then do something different. Life is too valuable to spend it on **** you don't appreciate.
i can go pick up a tesla p100d and be done with it but I like this current e63S for now. It's comfortable, fairly RELIABLE, and a great family driver and a good looker and can cart my three little kids. Checked all the boxes and interestingly 60ft time was not on my checklist when shopping this car. Whatever concerns I had with lag have been addressed with sprintbooster and I've got 20,000 very enjoyable miles on this pig.
i also enjoy my wife's 550i for what it is and also for what it isn't

Lol obviously but it's not like if we can't, we don't appareciate it for what it is.

I agree. But we also shouldnt pretend like there isnt a problem. Am I happy with stock performance? Yes! But do I want to improve it? Yes! Thats the whole point of tuning. To IMPROVE performance of the stock car. We need options and choices. You can choose to leave your tcu stock and be happy with your 60ft and launch. Or you can choose to improve it. Thats all Im saying. Weistec, Renntech and others are not delivering on this unlike bmw M tuners.

Tuning the car still results in a much faster car than stock.
Yea for 60ft it's almost the same as stock, but past that point a tuned car is much faster than a stock one.
So there is a big improvement to be had over stock performance overall. Of course if the 60ft can also be improved that would be even better and we would welcome it, but it doesn't mean without a better 60ft we are slow or not any faster than stock performance level for overall speed.

Also, did you ever consider the thought that the MCT would get destroyed if the TCU limit was removed?
even if they could remove it there's no point in doing it if the transmission will self destruct itself.

One of the basic human "needs" is a sense of belonging / community. I don't blame him... But if he just wasn't a troll and actually worth something on this board he'd get a difference response.
Hell, I wouldn't even care if he didn't have an e63 but had an m5/rs7 or some form of direct competition and could contribute real experience and not some so called test drives / youtube clips.
But the fact of the matter is this thread derailed on and off because of him / others so I'm at the point where I'm like screw it. Many of you get what the message is here and I'm happy about that. But people who uh...![BeatDeatHorse](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/beatdeadhorse5.gif)

I would not. I would buy a car that does it off the factory. I guess racing in a straight line VS. racing track is cultural thing. I could spend my life going around Spa, Estoril, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, Interlagos, Hockenheim, Monza or Imola, I would not even watch on TV much less drive to a drag race.
