Moaning noise
First of all, sorry, I know I've read other threads on this but I couldn't find my exact problem; one was close, but it had no resolution anyways. Lately the wagons been doing that moaning noise pulling into the garage. Left turn at slow speed. But just now, creeping up, straight, to a stop sign in traffic, I had the music on but thought I felt some sort of vibration in my feet. Turned the music down and sure enough, there was a moaning groaning sound basically idling at a very slow speed that you could feel through the car ever so slightly. Anyone experience this lately or better yet, got it fixed?

Do you have CCBs? If so:
On my phone so it's hard to search, but if you look for threads posted by me with "brake noise", you'll find very similar descriptions of a moaning sound at low speeds.

You mentioned slowly turning to the left?
Crazy notion, but did you check your power steering level? I know those pumps make a moaning noise when low.
Easy test: just sit in your driveway parked and slowly turn the wheel and listen.
Just a thought. Might be way off. lol

i second that the power steering pump might be the issue.

Thanks to all. Some of the threads I read did point me towards the power steering. But do you think that it would also do it going completely straight?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, but you got thousands of posts! I looked through for a while with no luck. Do you remember the title you started it under?? or an estimated date?

Just tried this morning. Of course now I can't replicated the sound at all, in any situations. Maybe the fluid is just on the brink of being too low. But it did just get out of a service B last month at 17K.

For sure 2014 E63 doesn't have fluid. It's electric power steering.

I had slow speed groaning and like others, the dealer replaced the upper strut mounts (both sides), spring cups and bump stops under warranty. Seems to have fixed the problem.

Yes, mine was repeatable on flat ground at low speed. It almost sounded like the return spring in the steering was creaking / moaning. Thankfully, it did make noise when I took it in for service.
