ECU Questions
I could really use some advice. Should I mail my ECU in since there isn't a tuner within 100 miles? The Kleeman rep offered to come to me. He is asking that I purchase a 2400 radar detector for him to come up the 2 hr drive to me.

FedEx or UPS it to your tuner of choice and buy the insurance. You should be good as most of us with ECU tune does the same thing without a problem.

Are you stock and just doing an off the shelf tune or are you doing more? I mailed my ECU to Eurocharged in TX and got the ECU back in a day. I overnighted it there and they sent it back as part of the tuning fee. Just pack the box full of stuffing and you'll be fine.
Unless you're doing a custom tune on a dyno, I would just mail it to Eurocharged next time they do a sale and be done with it.

Speaking of ECUs I acquired a second for a very good price, however I have been told by AMS that they can clone and they clone and tune a secondary ECU for the same car. There might be problems, due to incorrect mileage recordings.

Maybe to add one more point on here. It takes literally 5 minutes (your first time) to remove the ECU and 0 tools. You just pull off the cover, pull out the ecu, disconnect two plugs. Like, someone who know almost nothing about cars other than where the hood release is could do this.

It turns out the car had already been tuned. I overnighted the ECU and they said it was a mess. The boost was at max, they didn't mention any other changes but I am wondering if the car will still come back faster. Anybody know?
