2011 E63 AMG
Please help!

Hey everyone. I have a 2011 e63, non turbo. Only 61k and under cpo!

The dealer cannot figure out what to fix!

Here is the issue..... I romped on it in sport mode and it locked up on me and I lost power. Switched to comfort mode and drove comfortably home (500 miles, was on vacation). Take it into dealer as codes say bank 1 is to lean. They replace Purge Valve, and Intake Manifold (3900 later). I pick it up, decide to test it. And same thing happens!!!!! Dropped it back off. Any ideas?!!

Bank one lean is bad primary o2 sensor. In my time on other cars it has always been my tune. Stock tune I'm assuming?

Thanks!! Yes, 100 percent bone stock. Would that cause it looks power in sport mode?

The primary o2 sensor is used the entire time the engine is running. Try changing the primary o2 sensor. Means your AFR is off. Either due to your tune or an actual fouled up bad sensor/wiring.

+1. If it was truly locked up, it would mean your motor is seized and it would not run in any mode.

I was gonna comment on that too but I think he was talking about 3900.00 in CPO warranty, but it did give me that same impression he paid $3900

Yea, sorry for the confusion. CPO covered 3900 for the intake manifold and purge valve replacement. By locked up I mean it just suddenly loses power, check engine light flashes and then turns on. I can drive it fine with it on, but if I want to jump on it from 0-45 it will not all allow it. Hopefully they will solve the problem early this week. I'm guessing it's a sensor of some sort.
