The best or nothing
ECU died while updating
I asked my dealer to update trans and engine fw on a 2013 63S. Engine fw tried to update for three times and always froze during the process and made the engine dead.
Dealer promised to fix the ecu by ordering a specially VIN coded file to format the ECU and then upload the new fw.
Did this happen to anyone here?

It is possible. Does your car have and after market ECU calibration on it ?
