Different tire sizes that work?
Is anybody running 265/40 front 295/30 rear ? I read somewhere that this is a better combo vs stock size tires and this the size they should have been ,I would like to try this on my stock wheels can anyone confirm or have some pics ?
I'm looking for a more aggressive size without rubbing even if I decide to lower via Renntech kit
Has anyone used toyo r888 and how do they perform?

I am running something similar 265/35/19 and 295/30/19.
Some rubbing in the front on hard fast dips but that's about it.

Be careful when getting too far away from stock sizes. This car will try to kill you when it's stability/traction/abs nannies think the wheels are spinning at different rates.

So is it best to just keep them stock or is there any better alternative sizes to run?

Obviously it's best to keep them stock where the ecu is concerned but if you change sizes I'd highly recommend changing front and back proportionately. I went to 265/35/19 in front and 305/30/19 out back and my computer was constantly interrupting daily driving.

You have to keep the changes less than 2% or 1% to avoid issues with the electronics and keep the speedometer close to stock.
I have an e550 w212 and stock 4matic is 245/40/18 and i changed the rear to 285/35/18 and no issues. Ran the tire calculator and 275/35 or 285/35 is almost 0% difference from stock or from front.
Play with the calculator to see less than 2% change then worry about offsets and fitment.

Could be cos of better traction or maybe a size thing.
