Check it out. Get ready to watch him make fun of the slow transmission and weird park button.

2 things:
1) He said he wouldn't buy an late gen E63 wagon in his previous review
2) I remember seeing this car but couldn't remember the mileage.
The mileage is highly important, regardless of the fact he only paid 44K + extended ELW

The Pre-facelifts look so dated and old. These cars did not age well..

That said, I would have preferred a newer wagon for more warranty, but the AWD was a deal-breaker. Unless engaging RWD mode in the new ones becomes simplified to the point it's effortless, I'll probably never buy another E63.

The pre-facelift does not look good and is plagued with bugs.
Mercedes invested one Billion Euros into the development of W212 facelift.
So if you can nowadays buy a used W212 and choose facelift or pre-facelift and save perhaps $10-20,000USD, why settle for something that much worse?

Plagued with bugs. Wtf are u talking about......? Pre facelift has sharp bold edges... Throwback to the w124 500e.... Latter Car is just sad and droopy

I prefer the cohesive and hard edge design of the pre-facelift. The soft facelifted front was not designed with the 212 body in mind and the result looks like a front-heavy mashup of 2 different cars. The facelifted front was really intended for the larger and softer 213 body.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
I like the facelift because the front actually looks more similar to the w213 than the w211... makes me feel like the face lift w212 will age a bit better in the looks department

because many say the 1B euro facelift was a huge waste of moneyhttps://driventowrite.com/2015/12/01/mercedes-eclass-facelift/ ?

1 Billion Euros went to the whole W212 and 207 line-up, that's the first thing and second, even "invisible" issues, we should be concerned about when thinking about buying an older W212 were addressed in the fl development, such as divorced cooling in the fl E63. Then you have the new light (LED) system, new driving assistent systems, 4Matic AMG incl. quite a sophisticated diff that led to the new 4Matic+, lighter front suspension (S models) and tons of other things including MUCH higher reliability. Just ask taxi drivers about the pre-fl and fl difference.
I have contemplated getting a beautiful low mileage rwd E63 pre-fl biturbo a year ago but after learning what a letdown the old tech would bring, I passed on the offer.
