Steering Wheel Help
I just fitted a new facelifted W212 AMG Steering Wheel on my 2011, however the buttons and horn are not working. I figured this could be an issue, but I don't understand why? The plug are exactly the same, everything lines up and the wheel fits perfect. Is there something I can swap from the old wheel or am I looking at a moot point? Here is a pic for reference. Any help would be great.

U have to buy control unit which around 120€.
your steering wheel came for models after august 2011. You have to get unit for production date before that time.

no, I don't think I kept it. It was a while ago.
Just get module , replace with your old one( under air bag) and problem solved. You can take VIN number of car with new steering wheel with production date before august 2011 and I tell you module part number.
there is no other solution. Trust me....
