Installing new door pins?

Hey guys,

I'm stumped! I just received my new amg door pins and cant seem to get the oem ones off... From what I have read the fronts unscrew and rears pull off. I have tried this on both the front and back with no luck. The original plastic ones just wont budge. I even tried a set of pliers.

Any ideas?

Car in question is a 14 E63S

Thank you

Thanks for the reply. I watched that exact same video before attempting it again. The fronts do in fact screw off however are very tight. I had to use the pliers for a good 8-9 turns before being able to unscrew them by hand. The rears just popped off after a decent amount of force.

Use locktite on the REARS before you snap the new ones in

keep in mind you will not be able to open the locks in the rear anymore with your fingers

safety issue?

Thanks, the rears seem to be on there fairly securely for now. I will be sure to use locktite if need be in the future. You are correct, both front and rear are now flush with the door panel and can not be pulled open.
