Bosch 010 pump

Greetings to all..........

I have '12 E63 and was curious if the IC pump can be retro fitted with the Bosch 010 to help with cooling ? Thanks for any and all help. Be safe.

hey brotha, usually a bigger pump is only added if you install a bigger water tank in the trunk to help move the larger volume of water, adding more volume has a bigger impact with temps. You can purchase a tank that hold a lil over a gallon and retrofit it somewhere near you coolant tank and reroute hoses. But I think you have the mated system meaning your intercooler water is shared with your engine coolant. If you purchase the upgrade which is for the 14 up version it separates your system , and definitely helps intake temps

It is a mated system and the problem with the dual system is that it is a major amount of work, more thak most people think. I'm looking for the easiest work arounds and am led to believe the stock pump is fairly weak. Thanks and be safe.

The stock pumps on the W212 M157 are as good as the Bosch 010
