20” tire size options/opinions
Hey everyone,
im in the process of building a set of wheels for my E63S and wanted to get an idea as to which tire sizes you all have tested out? I know the trend seems to be a 255/30 on a 9” and 295 or 305/25 on a 10.5. Has anyone tried any other wheel widths/tire sizes? Anyone gone any wider than a 255 in the front? I’d love to hear what everyone’s thoughts were before I give the ok to the build.

I ran 20x9” ET38 with 265/30R20 and 20x10” ET45 with 295/25R20. To me that was the ideal wheel and tire spec for the 20”. Michelin was the only one who had that combo with the Pilot Super Sport but discontinued the 295 size. They will have that combo again in March in the Pilot 4 S.

Thanks Martin and congrats with Nemesis!(recently bought an sq5) You ran that set up before lowering if I recall? Ideally Id love to do 20x9 with a 265 and a 20x10.5 with a 305. Having a hard time finding many matching options in that.

Yes, the set up I mentioned was before lowering but know it works. Similar sizing on new set coming.
